Aeration
Aeration is a great way to strengthen and green lawns of all type. A machine is used to pull up plugs from the ground, allowing oxygen, water, and fertilizer to reach the soil and roots. Aeration reduces thatch buildup, improves permeation, and promotes quick overall growth for the lawn. The best results are seen when fertilizer is applied shortly after aerating.
Power-Raking
Power Raking removes the thatch (dead grass) buildup from the winter and the previous year’s mulch. After going over the lawn with the machine we hand rake all the thatch, which is then bagged and hauled away for your convenience. Power raking is a great way to make room for new roots, while strengthening the ones you already have.
Fertilization / Weed Control
Fertilization promotes lawn health, making it stronger and more resistant to harm. Lawns of Leisure offers a Six-Time application. The first treatment is composed of heavy nitrogen, which will green up the lawn very quickly and get it growing. The second is a pre-emergent, which prevents weeds from growing. The third, fourth, and fifth applications are a slow-release formula that allows the lawn to remain green and healthy through out the season. Finally, the sixth is another heavy nitrogen, which will keep the lawn green longer into the spring. This will also help the lawn start-up the following spring.
Weekly Lawn Care
Weekly Lawn Care consists of mowing, trimming, and edging the lawn each week to maintain overall health and aesthetics. The clippings are bagged, and then hauled away at no extra charge.
